Paper accepted at IEEE ISPASS 2017
UNIST CSE Hyunsub Song, Young Je Moon, Se Kwon Lee and Professor Sam H. Noh’s paper “PMAL: Enabling Lightweight Adaptation of Legacy File Systems on Persistent Memory Systems” was accepted for publication at IEEE ISPASS 2017.
Recent interest in Persistent Memory (PM) has stirred development of new file systems for using PM efficiently. Most recent PM storage targeted file systems are being developed under the premise that legacy file systems are sub-optimal on memory bus attached PM-based storage. However, we look into how we can leverage the maturity ingrained in legacy file systems to the fullest, while, at the same time, reaping the high performance offered by PM.
The ISPASS is a conference, which focuses on performance analysis in the design of computer systems and software.
